Terms of Service
Effective 2026-08-23
This is a translation of the Korean original. Where the two differ, the Korean text governs.
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms set out the conditions for using Suspects Club (the “Service”) and the rights and obligations of members and the operator.
Article 2 (Membership)
1.You join with a Kakao or Google account. On sign-up we receive an account identifier from that provider and, where you have consented, your email address. Both routes give the same membership.
2.You must be 14 or older to join. We do not offer a guardian consent process.
3.Your nickname may be shown on the Service. If a nickname impersonates someone else or is offensive, the operator may ask you to change it or change it directly.
Article 3 (Taking cases and submitting answers)
1.There is no limit on how many answers you submit for a case. You can solve it again after answering; your most recent answer is the one kept on record.
2.The Service does not measure solving time. We neither record nor display how long you took.
3.Automated tools, multiple accounts, sharing answers and anything else that interferes with the running of the Service are prohibited. Where this is established we may void your record for that round and suspend your access.
Article 4 (Standings and prizes)
1.The Service does not rank members against one another. There is no leaderboard, and you cannot look up another member’s record.
2.We give out no prizes of any kind — no cash, no goods, no gift vouchers.
3.We do not display points. You are told whether you were right, and you get the solution; we do not put scores, grades or anything else that lets members be compared on the screen.
4.Where an error in a case is confirmed, the operator may correct that round or void it.
Article 5 (Buying paid cases)
1.All cases are currently free. The Service uses no pre-loaded in-app currency (coins, cash or similar).
2.If paid cases are introduced, you will pay for each case at the time you take it, and the price and payment methods will be shown on the purchase screen.
3.You may withdraw from a purchase within 7 days of payment, provided you have not opened the case. Once you have opened it, withdrawal may be restricted given the nature of the content; where that applies we will say so on the purchase screen beforehand.
Article 6 (Rights in the content)
1.The cases, panel artwork and solutions provided by the Service belong to the operator.
2.Publishing answers or solutions elsewhere is prohibited. Revealing the answer to a round that is still running spoils the Service for members who have not solved it yet.
3.Some of the case artwork was produced with generative AI.
Article 7 (Changes to the Service)
The operator may change or discontinue the Service. Changes that disadvantage members will be announced 7 days in advance, and material changes 30 days in advance.
Article 8 (Restriction of use)
Where a breach of Article 3(3), an infringement of another person’s rights, or interference with the running of the Service is established, we may escalate through warning, voiding of records, suspension and termination. Members may dispute any such measure.
Article 9 (Liability)
The operator is not liable for loss caused by force majeure, by the member, or by failures in third-party services (Kakao, Google, payment providers and the like). This does not apply to loss caused by the operator’s intent or gross negligence.
Article 10 (Governing law and disputes)
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be settled by agreement where possible; where litigation is necessary it will be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
